Ultimate Impact currently serves over 1,000 youth each year ages 6 -18 years old at 12 schools and community programs in southeast San Francisco. In addition to serving over 200 youth weekly through partnerships in schools and community programs, Ultimate Impact runs competitive middle school and high school teams, girls trips, a paid high school junior coaches employment program, outreach clinics for schools, and hosts elementary school tournaments throughout the year.

Ultimate Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was launched in June 2016. We use ultimate Frisbee as the framework for providing girls and boys 6 to 18 years old with increased opportunities, confidence, communication abilities, and conflict-resolution skills. Through weekly training sessions, peer interaction, and consistent adult mentorship, Ultimate Impact creates a positive environment for youth to have fun, be active, improve athletic skills, and build community through the concept of a team.

Ultimate Impact's mission is to improve the lives of underrepresented youth through the sport and community of ultimate Frisbee. Its programs focus on reducing access barriers to opportunities and networks for youth and families in underrepresented communities.

To make this happen:

  1. We building long-term relationships with existing partner organizations, youth, families, and schools. This allows us to transition with players through different schools.
  2. We teach on and off the field skills to develop youth as players and professionals.
  3. We connect players with others outside their community.

Ultimate Impact's Core Values:

  • We believe in making a measurable and lasting positive change in the lives of kids.
  • We believe in being goal-oriented and that it takes hard work to accomplish positive change.
  • We believe in continual evidence-based learning, growth, and innovation.
  • We believe in giving respect to earn respect.
  • We believe in being accountable.
  • We believe that providing consistent mentorship will create new mentors.
  • We believe that where you come from does not limit where you go.

“Ultimate Impact strives to build long lasting relationships to teach on and off the field skills and foster a feeling of belonging in order to improve the lives of underrepresented youth through the sport and community of ultimate Frisbee. We are there every week- rain or shine- with a lot of energy, a bag of discs, and a box full of cleats.” -- Nicole Neumiller, Program Manager & Coach
